Welcome to Pursue Public.  My name is Kyle.  I established this site for the public land novice to answer questions, concerns, and initial planning assumptions for a DIY archery backpacking hunt on public land in Idaho.  This site is not solely for hunters or backpackers.  It is intended to show the many recreational possibilities that exist on public land all over our nation.  Public land that is every American’s right to access.  I plan on sharing the knowledge through the documentation of the final two months of planning and preparation leading up to my first self-planned public land hunt.  

The vision of this blog is to break down the assumed barriers of public land access being too cumbersome or complicated and to motivate readers to get out and explore public land near and far to them.  This is a right that every American has and one that we should not take for granted.  I hope you enjoy the content and your future adventures pursuing recreation on public land.
